1Who Controls Your Data
Your data is controlled by Shizi Softwares Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India — the parent entity of SCHOLAR iQ. This policy is drafted in compliance with the Information Technology Act 2000, the IT (SPDI) Rules 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023.
2What Data We Collect
For Training Platform Users
- —Personal details: name, email, phone, date of birth
- —Academic records: degrees, CGPA, transcripts, institution name
- —AI interaction data: SARA AI chat logs, code submissions, assessment scores, skill evaluations
- —Payment information: tokenised through PCI-DSS compliant gateways (Razorpay/Stripe) — raw card data is never stored by us
For University Intelligence Feature Users
- —Browsing behaviour: which courses and universities you compare
- —Filter preferences and search queries (anonymised)
- —If you submit an interest enquiry form, your name, email, and phone number
Technical Data (All Users)
- —IP address, browser type, device identifiers, session duration, page interaction heatmaps
3How We Use Your Data
- Delivering Training: To admit you to programs, run assessments, issue certifications, and communicate cohort updates.
- AI Career Mapping: To generate personalised skill-gap analysis, career path recommendations, and learning trajectories using SARA AI.
- Placement Pipeline: With your explicit opt-in, your anonymised performance metrics and technical portfolio are shared with our corporate hiring partners to facilitate placement.
- University Intelligence: Anonymised browsing data helps us rank courses more accurately and recommend relevant programs.
- AI Model Improvement: Stripped, anonymised conversational data may be used to fine-tune SARA AI for better accuracy and reduced hallucination rates.
4Who We Share It With
We do not sell your data. Sharing is limited to:
- Institutional Partners (Kalinga University and future partners): Only your name, enrollment ID, and assessment scores necessary to co-issue the academic certificate.
- Corporate Hiring Partners: Only upon your explicit opt-in to the placement pipeline. Sanitised technical portfolio data only.
- Cloud Infrastructure Providers: AWS/GCP bound by strict Data Processing Agreements. They cannot access your data for their own purposes.
- Law Enforcement: Only when mandated by a valid court order or statutory requisition.
5Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
- Right to Access: Request a full export of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data through your dashboard.
- Right to Erasure: Request permanent account deletion. Note: this revokes active certifications and removes you from the placement pipeline.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
