Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Last Updated: May 2026
This policy applies to all training certifications, BVoc academic pathways, and platform subscriptions offered by SCHOLAR iQ, a brand of Shizi Softwares Pvt. Ltd. Please read this policy carefully before completing your enrolment.
1. Programme Fee Structure
SCHOLAR iQ programmes are delivered using a cloud-based AI Learning Management System (LMS), AI-proctored assessment infrastructure, and dedicated mentor support. Upon successful enrolment and payment confirmation, platform access, personalised AI tools (SARA AI suite), and mentor allocation are activated immediately for the enrolled student.
Because digital resources and human mentorship are provisioned at the point of enrolment, fees are governed by the cancellation and refund schedule set out in this policy.
2. Cancellation & Refund Schedule
Refund eligibility is determined by when a formal written cancellation request is received relative to the official cohort commencement date:
| Cancellation Requested | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| More than 7 days before cohort start | 90% of fee paid (10% processing deduction) |
| 3–7 days before cohort start | 75% of fee paid |
| Within 72 hours of cohort start | 50% of fee paid |
| After cohort commencement | No refund (see Section 3 for deferral options) |
* Processing deductions cover payment gateway transaction charges and applicable taxes. Refunds, where approved, are processed to the original payment source within 7–10 business days.
3. Cohort Deferral Option
We understand that life events — medical situations, family emergencies, or sudden professional changes — can disrupt even the best-laid plans. If you are unable to continue your programme after commencement due to a genuine circumstance, you may apply for a Cohort Deferral instead of a refund.
- Deferral requests must be submitted within 14 days of the triggering event to [email protected]
- Supporting documentation (medical certificate, etc.) may be requested at our discretion
- Approved deferrals carry forward 100% of your course progress and access to the next available cohort
- Each enrolment is eligible for one deferral
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be applicable under the following circumstances, as the programme content, mentorship, and AI tools will have been actively consumed:
- Academic performance: Not clearing the 30/70 internal evaluation or the university examination. Academic outcomes depend on individual effort and engagement with the curriculum.
- Placement outcomes: Employment is facilitated through our placement support and AI career tools, but is ultimately dependent on market conditions and individual interview performance. Placement support is a best-effort service, not a guarantee.
- Curriculum dissatisfaction: Detailed programme syllabi, delivery format, and assessment structure are published on each programme page prior to enrolment. Students are encouraged to review these thoroughly and consult SARA AI or our counselling team before enrolling.
- Non-usage of platform: Not logging into the LMS or not attending live sessions after cohort commencement does not qualify as grounds for a refund.
5. Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge was applied in error, or if you have a concern about a transaction, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating any bank or payment gateway dispute. Our team will review and respond within 3 business days.
We are committed to resolving payment concerns fairly and promptly. If a dispute is raised directly with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, it may delay the resolution process. Please note that raising a chargeback while simultaneously receiving active platform access may result in suspension of that access pending investigation, consistent with standard merchant terms.
6. How to Submit a Refund or Cancellation Request
To initiate a refund or cancellation, please:
- Email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Name] — [Programme Name]"
- Include your enrolment ID, payment reference number, and the reason for your request
- Our support team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and communicate the outcome within 5 business days
For urgent concerns, you may also call us at +91 94038 92667 during business hours (Mon–Sat, 10 AM – 6 PM IST).

Grievance Officer: Legal & Compliance Team
Designation: Student Affairs & Compliance

Response Time: Within 15 days of receiving the grievance

Any material changes will be communicated to enrolled students via their registered email address at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued enrolment after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
